Webaudio API: Sensible Q factor range?

I have an app at which users can modify the lowpass and highpass of input audio as filters. I'm adding Q, but I don't know what range to assign to the range element for Q.

One of the filters is a "muffled radio" filter, with lowpass around 1700 and highpass around 200.

I've searched the net, one source says the standard range for Q is 0.0001 to 1000, another says 1 to 100.

And I'm stuck. Can anyone help?
