I am building an IoT-based air quality monitoring system using ESP32 and originally planned to use the PMS5003 particulate matter sensor to measure PM2.5 and PM10 levels. However, I’m currently unable to find this sensor locally, so I’m looking for reliable alternatives that work well with ESP32 or Arduino for environmental monitoring. I have come across sensors like SDS011, GP2Y1010AU0F, and PMS7003, but I’m unsure which one would be the closest replacement in terms of accuracy and ease of integration. If anyone has experience using these sensors or has worked with the PMS5003, I would appreciate recommendations or insights on which sensor would be best for a long-term IoT air quality monitoring project.
