Upgrading my React Native App to the latest and greatest for Android 16KB pages [closed]

I am trying to upgrade my app to the latest and greatest compatible packages, components. I've tried 3 times and have come to massive roadblocks with autolinking, dependency incompatibilities and circular errors. I've tried to use AI (Cursor, ChatGPT) to help me, but it seems to get stuck. I've attached the matrix for the upgrade, but I think the breaking changes in versions is stopping me and the libraries not being ready for the upgrades and demands that Android is forcing.

Has anybody else been through this and can give me any pointers? This last attempt was to try and upgrade without the new architecture. I've built bridges for 3rd party libraries that will also need to update and want to avoid that lift if I can.

If there is more I have to add to this post or if this isn't the best place to ask, please let me know.
Should I start with a new solution and add files as I go? What's the best approach? Should I upgrade in steps? top of the compatibility matrix
