Is using AI to fix my code slowing down my programming skill development?

I’ve been learning programming for about a month and a half. I practice around 4 hours a day, and recently I started building a larger project on my own to learn by solving real problems.

I use AI as a support tool: I write my own code first, and only ask for help when something doesn’t work, mainly to fix errors and understand concepts better.

However, I sometimes feel like I struggle with logic and that the AI helps more than I can figure out on my own. My goal is to become a developer who doesn’t depend on it.

Is this a good way to learn, or should I change my approach to better develop my problem-solving skills?
