While I agree it's weird to show a more complex version, I don't think this question should be downvoted, it provides enough code to reproduce and input and output expectations. Math.js supports adding rules to overcome this situation for a reason, that format might be easier to follow if the output is to show the entire process on how to solve a equation for example, it really depends on the context.
