Good Afternoon All,
I recently installed a Starlink Mini on my vehicle as I frequently am in the mountains without cell service. The issue that I am running across is that I cannot use Starlink and Android Auto simultaneously because they are running on separate networks. Android Auto utilizes the WiFi network in the vehicle to connect, which is it own separate network. I have connected the vehicle to the Starlink WiFI, but the vehicle will not share data. There is an option for the vehicle WiFi to act as a HotSpot, but only as a paid subscription through OnStar. Additionally, Android Auto does not want to talk via the Starlink, and I do not see an option for a direct connect that would still allow another WiFi network. Does anyone have ideas on configuring Android to utilize two WiFi Networks at once? Any help is appreciated.
