I’m facing an issue with renewing my Apple Developer Program membership and I’m unable to find a way to proceed.
Background
I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program about one year ago via the Apple Developer website. My membership has now expired. I am signing in with the Account Holder Apple ID. Current behavior
On the Apple Developer website, I see the following message:
“Your Apple Developer Program membership has expired.”
The message instructs me to renew using the Apple Developer app.
I installed the Apple Developer app on macOS and signed in with the Account Holder account.
There is no Renew button available. The app only shows “Valid through Dec 11, 2025”.
Additional checks
In App Store → Subscriptions, the Apple Developer Program does not appear at all. In App Store Connect, all agreements, including the Paid Applications Agreement and Free Apps Agreement, are marked as expired. There is no Agree button or checkbox to re-accept them. I tested signing in using different browsers, including Safari and Chrome, as well as private/incognito mode. The result is the same. This is not a payment method issue. There is simply no option to renew. Support status
I have contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times and opened support cases. I have not received any response so far. I also posted on Apple Developer Forums and was advised to contact support again. Because renewal is blocked, my apps are unavailable on the App Store and this is blocking my work.
Question Has anyone encountered a situation where all of the following apply?
The Apple Developer Program membership is expired. The Renew button is completely missing. The subscription does not appear in App Store subscriptions. Agreements cannot be accepted due to renewal being blocked. If so, was this resolved only by Apple manually unlocking the account, or is there any known workaround?
