AnyLogic models (including examples) showing white screen and "localhost is not responding"

I am using AnyLogic 8.9.7 Personal Learning Edition and have just started working with this application. When I tried to create my own model following tutorials from the AnyLogic website, I encountered a problem when attempting to run the model. A window would appear, but it would not load (it was just a white screen), and there was a message saying “localhost is not responding". When I tried to open other example models included in AnyLogic itself, the same thing happened. What could be the problem?
