I have an Android application using Google AdMob.
In the AdMob console → Payments section, it shows:

Payments account: AdSense (India)

When I log in to the linked AdSense account, I see the message:

“To start earning from AdSense, you need to add your payment info and connect your site.”

However:

I do not run any website

I am only monetizing an Android app via AdMob

I do not want to show ads on a site

I understand that AdMob uses AdSense for payouts, but I am confused about the following:

Is it mandatory to connect a website in AdSense for AdMob-only publishers?

In AdSense → Payments, I do not see “Manage payment methods”.
I only see limited payment/profile information and no clear option to add or edit bank details.

Where exactly should I add or verify my bank account details (India) for AdMob payouts?

This is a classic google UI confusion moment!

From my personal experience, the short answer and suggestion is:

You don't need any website

Start showing real ads (not test ads) in your app/s

When you accumulate $10 in total earning, google will ask for verification and payment details

Until that point don't bother about the Adsense account.

For reference see these links:

Select your form of payment

Verification and Payment method selection thresholds

The message you see is a generic AdSense message intended for website publishers. As soon as the Admob account verification is complete your and you add your payment details from the Admob dashboard, the earning will be sent to Adsense account (it might show the earning beforehand too, I'm not sure about it) and I'm 100% sure that the Adsense dashboard will also change automatically. I just checked my Adsense account after seeing your question. I don't remember checking the Adsens account in the past.
